PHOENIX - Indy Run 2017
Back in June 1981 Raiders of the Lost Ark hit the big screens in the USA and was the first in an epic series of films which saw archaeologist Indiana Jones scouring the globe for lost artefacts and hidden treasure. To celebrate the month in which the film was first released, Phoenix Running is holding one of our 6 hour timed running events on June 1st 2017.
So don your 'Indy' hat and leather jacket, grab your whip and come and run with us on June 1st 2017.
You can complete as many, or as few, laps as you like of a 3.28 mile, out and back, course along the beautiful river Thames. Complete one lap and you qualify for the bespoke finishers' medal, or keep going and see how far you can get in the full 6 hours.
The medal for this is one of our best and was one of the most popular.
This event is fully sanctioned by the 100 Marathon Club and for competitors completing 8 laps or more (26.2 miles+) this will count towards your numbers.
The overall course has no elevation gain / loss making this a flat and fast route.
Places will be strictly limited so don't leave it too late to enter.
Registration opens from 8.00am
The postcode for your sat nav for parking on Waterside Drive is KT12 2JG
Closing date for entries is 30th May 2017, or before if maximum entry numbers are reached (this is highly likely) - there is NO 'on the day entry'.
