World Diabetes Day is a global awareness campaign focusing on diabetes. The day marks the birthday of Frederick Banting, who is noted as the co-discoverer of insulin.
2 members of our team are type 1 diabetics and so have to rely on insulin injections several times a day.
All profits from this run will be donated to Diabetes UK to help fund the amazing work they carry out.
Course: 3.1 mile mile loop - flat tarmac path with a short section on gravel path.
Complete as many or as few laps as you wish within the 6 hour time limit.
For those wanting to go for long distances, a half marathon complete 4 laps + short out & back, marathon 8 laps + short out & back and ultra 9+ laps.
