Following our hugely popular Born 2B Wild Event Consett Canicross are delighted to announce that we are doing it all again!

Open to participants of all abilities - enjoy 5k (ish) of Hamsterley Forest!!
Immerse yourself in Nature for an awesome trail race..

There will be mud
There will be hills
There will be obstacles
There may even be trails to follow!

Plus, there will be a 2nd chance to earn our Top Dogz Team Awards - simply enter as normal and add your team name at time of registration, each team must consist of 5 members and the winners will be decided by your aggregate time.

Race Starts at 9am with a staggered start based on your estimated time.

Entry includes:

Medal for all finishers

Medal for each member of the Top Dogz team

Trophies for First Male & Female Individual Finishers

Event Photographs

Post Run drink for you and your dog(S)

Veterinary cover provided by WestWay Veterinary Hospital

First Aid and Canine First Aid Cover

10% Donation to Animal Charity

Registration/number collection opens at 8am on the race morning and will be available until 15 minutes before the start time.

Entries are non refundable (may be transferred to later event - deferral request must be made before the entry cut-off date)

Entrants must be over 16 (human) and over 1 year - 18 months (dogs) on date of event

Dogs must be under the control of an adult at all times (16+)

By registering you confirm that you and your dog are physically fit to participate

You also confirm that you have read and agree to our Code of Practice and Pre Event Declaration by continuing to register

The course includes potential tripping hazards and technical running surfaces, therefore appropriate clothing/footwear must be worn

All dogs must be wearing a suitable running harness attached to a bungee line and waist belt.

Times are individually recorded by 2 x independent timekeepers.

Team name must be entered when signing up to be eligible for team awards - Team awards will be decided aggregate time of all members (total time divided by 5)
