Fancy a running challenge with a difference? Think you could run 1 mile, on the hour, every hour, for 12 consecutive hours? Easy - right?.

Then look no further than the 'P12' to be held on Saturday 22nd June 2024.

The concept is simple - choose a start time between 8.00am and 8.00pm and then run 1 mile at any pace you like. You can run out and back, up and down your road, round the block, in your garden, even on a treadmill. Then on the next hour you do it again, any pace you like. Same again at 10, 11, 12, 1, 2 - on the hour, every hour, 1 mile, run, walk or crawl, you get the idea. And repeat for 12 hours, running your final mile, on the hour, 12 hours later.

You'll get a bespoke, sequential BIB when you sign up and then on the day we'll ask you to share some of your miles and stories to our Facebook groups and then submit one total result through Phoenix World at the end (full details provided in your confirmation and final event info. Emails).

This is a challenge for literally anyone of any running ability. If you're new to running, fancy something completely different or fancy your first foray into endurance challenges, trying out a 12 hour challenge with a difference then this is for you. We also have the 'P24 - The Longest Day', a 24 hour version of this challenge running simultaneously on the same day.

And if you're a seasoned ultra runner, then we'd love to have you aboard and this might not be quite as straightforward as you think.

There will, of course, be the suitably epic medal sent out immediately after the challenge to all finishers.
