The Yorkshire Senior Sabre championship is the County sabre championship event, with both a Men's and Women's Sabre championship. Selection for the Yorkshire Team and the GB Cup are taken from results at this event. To be eligible for this event you must either live in Yorkshire or be a full member of a fencing club based in Yorkshire.

The events will be held at Stamford Bridge Sports Hall at the Old Station Club. The Hall will open at 0900 and we aim to finish the day by 1630. There is free onsite parking.

Please note Breeches, FIE Sabre Gloves and 800N plastrons are mandatory for all fencers or you will not be permitted to fence. Full Electric Sabre Kit is required. There is no armoury service or equipment stall

Entrants must be at least 13 years old with a British Fencing "Compete" Licence

The Championship will consist of one round of Poules with Direct Elimination of 15 hits. Poules may be mixed but DE's will be separated into Male and Female events.

The Yorkshire Team Sabre Championship will take place in the afternoon, starting at 1330 for those wishing to get some more fencing (limited to 4 teams). Entry to this is free.
