Message from Viv

Following my diagnosis of stage 4 bowel cancer in June 2021 (with a 2 year prognosis), my best friend, Tracy Kirk set herself numerous running challenges during 2022 to raise funds for Cancer Research UK under the title banner of Viv�s Positivity POWer.

As a result, Viv�s Positivity POWer fun run and walk was born. Our wish was to bring people together in the beautiful natural setting of South Park Darlington to promote the green prescription, to inspire people to be active and to promote my passion for having a positive mental attitude. I was blown away by the support and enthusiasm for the event in 2022 and we were able to repeat it successfully in 2023.

I am truly blessed to still be here in 2024. I am humbled by the love and support I have been shown and to have the opportunity to share time with friends and family once again at this year�s (third) event means the world to me. Friendship and contact with other people is so very special and wonderful - memories to cherish for always.
