Air Ambulance fundraising virtual challenge takes off

The Helimed Rescue Challenge is a virtual tour of all the Air Ambulance air bases in the UK. A charity fundraiser adventure that anyone can get involved in. You don't have to be an athlete to participate. Just the ability to log your mileage. In return we provide mission stories from each of the airbases and a little history in each of the individual Air Ambulance Charities around the UK.

Many people don't realise that the Air Ambulance is the fourth emergency service, that we all hope we'll never need but are comforted by the fact that it's there should we ever need to call on it, is not government funded like the other three; Fire, Police & Ambulance. And so the Air Ambulance has to be self funding in order to offer their invaluable service - and that's what this Challenge is all about, raising much needed funds for a immensely worthwhile cause.
