At EventEntry, we are dedicated to continually improving our platform to provide the best possible experience for our users. Leveraging our extensive real-world experience in event organisation and management, we've made significant strides over the past year. We're excited to share some key statistics that highlight our ongoing commitment to excellence.
Speedy Signups: Faster and More Efficient
Our primary goal has always been to streamline the signup process, making it quicker and more user-friendly. Unlike most of our competitors, EventEntry does not insist entrants pre-register for an account prior to entering an event. We believe that the entry itself should form part of the entrant's profile, and our systems automatically match with previous entries. This approach, combined with the efficiency of digital wallet transactions, has resulted in impressive signup times. The fastest signup time has improved from 10 seconds last year to an impressive 8 seconds this year, and the average signup time has decreased from 149 seconds to 123 seconds. These improvements reflect our dedication to optimising the user experience and ensuring a smooth and efficient process for all our users.
Signup Rates: Understanding User Behaviour
We've observed a change in the number of single entrant signups, which decreased from 136 last year to 91 this year, while single entry signups decreased from 18 to 12. These shifts may indicate evolving user behaviour or external factors influencing participation. We continue to analyse these trends to better understand and address the needs of our users.
Increased Entry Value
The average entry value has seen a positive increase, rising from £22.17 last year to £23.44 this year. This growth suggests that our users recognise the value of the events and services we and our partner event organisers and race directors offer. We remain committed to providing high-quality experiences that justify this investment.
Payment Preferences: A Growing Trend
Our payment processing statistics reveal a notable shift in user preferences. Stripe payments have increased from 68% last year to 75% this year, while PayPal payments have decreased from 32% to 25%. This trend coincides with the uplift in digital wallet transactions, as Stripe processes these transactions.
Digital Wallet Payments: Apple Pay Leads the Way
Digital wallet payments are becoming increasingly popular among our users. Apple Pay usage has risen significantly from 35.9% last year to 44.7% this year, while Google Pay has seen a modest increase from 6.1% to 7.5%. These trends highlight the convenience and security that digital wallets offer, and we are committed to supporting these payment methods to enhance user satisfaction.
Demographics: Understanding Our User Base
Our demographic data shows some interesting changes. Female participation has slightly decreased from 45% to 42.58%, and male participation has decreased from 49.9% to 47.08%. Notably, the percentage of users who chose not to disclose their gender has increased from 5.1% to 10.34%. We are dedicated to understanding and addressing the diverse needs of our user base, and we will continue to refine our approach to demographic data collection.
At EventEntry, we are proud of the progress we've made and remain committed to continuous improvement. Our real-world experience in event organisation and management informs our approach, ensuring that we provide valuable and effective solutions for our users. We value the feedback and support of our users and look forward to another year of growth and success.
