The Hagbourne Fun Run and Walk is an annual family friendly event which takes place on the early May bank holiday Monday. The course is 4.5 mile / 7.1 km, multi-terrain starting and ending in East Hagbourne, Oxfordshire. Mainly on footpaths and bridleways (1 short section of public road through Upton Village) it goes via West Hagbourne, Upton and Blewbury before returning to East Hagbourne. The route includes a number of stiles and kissing gates and can be muddy & uneven in parts.
The race is followed by hot food, delicious cakes and drinks & prize giving in East Hagbourne Village Hall. The event is open to all levels and ages of runners and walkers. Dogs are welcome with walkers but not with runners. Since 1990 this event has raised thousands of pounds for cancer charities and the Hagbourne Village Fund which supports local good causes and projects.
Prizes for: 1st, 2nd, 3rd Man; 1st, 2nd, 3rd Lady; 40+ Man; 40+ Lady; 60+ Man; 60+ Lady; U16 Boy; U16 Girl; U12 Boy; U12 Girl; U9 Boy; U9 Girl, Local Man; Local Lady. Local = living within the parish of East or West Hagbourne. Ages for the categories will be your age on race day.
Please enter online via this site if possible - it's cheaper and easier. There will be some last minute registration available on the day (subject to availability) at Hagbourne Village Hall for both runners and walkers at £10 per adult runner; £3 for U16 runners; £5 for adult walkers and £1 for U16 walkers.
Pre-booked runners: please come to Hagbourne Village Hall between 9am and 10.30am on race day to collect your race number. Walkers do not need a race number.

Entrants under 9yrs must be accompanied by an adult.
Entrants under 16yrs may only take part with the permission of a parent or guardian. By entering you confirm that this permission has been given.
In the event of the organisers cancelling the event, entrants will be offered the options to transfer their entry to the following year, donate the money or have a refund (less booking fees).
In the event of a pre-paid entrant not attending no refund will be payable.
Dogs are NOT permitted with runners
The organisers of the Hagbourne Fun Run will manage your personal data in line with current legislation. We will keep it safe and secure and only use it for the purpose of managing your entry and collating the results of the Fun Run.
Entrants agree to participate in this event at their own risk and that the organisers and owners of land over which the footpaths pass will not be responsible for any injuries, loss or damage sustained by anyone participating in this event.
