Fen Gallop 2024 - Sunday 7 July 2024

Chipped timing event along picturesque flat country roads, footpaths and bridleways of Willingham, Cambridgeshire. There is a 10km race or a shorter 4 mile option, cutting back to Willingham before reaching Over. After the main races, there is a Colour/Fun run for the kids run by the Willingham School Association*.

Registration opens at 8.30 and closes at 9:45
Mandatory safety briefing held near start at 10:10 for 10K runners. 10K start time at 10.20
Mandatory safety briefing held near start at 10:30 for 4 mile runners and walkers at the back. 4 mile (runners and walkers) start time at 10.40

All proceeds from the day go to the Willingham School Association (a registered charity) and other local charity groups.

Minimum age for 10K event is 15 years. Over-16's 4-mile is 16 years, and Under-16's 4-mile is 11 years. Under 11's can run the 4-mile race but will need to be accompanied to the event with a parent/guardian. A disclaimer will need to be signed by parent/guardian for runners under 16 years.

Walkers entry available - no timing/chip-timing, no rush but great walk! Chance for a social chit-chat through the fens :)
