The race will start from its now traditional spot, a little way along the flat track that leads around the east side of Brown Wardle. Parking is available on rough ground to the left beyond the cattle grid on Whitworth Rake.

The overall length of the race us 3.5 km (2.25 miles) around the east side of Brown Wardle and back over its summit.

Awards to first boy overall; first girl overall; winning boy and girl in each age group.

Entry is for 7-16 yrs (on race day) only.

Last entry is 24 hours before the race start to comply with health and safety reasons.

All reasonable precautions will be taken, and the course will be appropriately marshalled and flagged, but all entrants compete at their parent's/guardian's own risk and understand that the terrain is rough ground).

We are happy for those in the youngest age groups to be accompanied, but this is on the understanding that this is for encouragement/safety only, no physical help that may affect the outcome of the races, especially the primary cup!

Insurance is provided by Whitworth Sports Council.

No deferrals, transfers or refunds, the event is run at no profit, if any profit is generated then this passed onto Whitworth Sports Council.
