New Forest Stinger 2026

Welcome to New Forest Stinger, hosted by Totton Running Club.

Come and join us for the New Forest Stinger 2026.

Scenic off-road race in the beautiful New Forest. 10 mile route, mainly on trail. One of the very few events that use this part of the forest for running events with some of the best views.

The race permit is through the Trail Running Association there are different criteria for being affilated - Note that, under UK Athletics Rules for Trail Running, it is not necessary for an affiliated entrant to demonstrate individual membership of their National Association, e.g. England Athletics, by providing a membership number. They do, however, need to be a member of a club affiliated to UK Athletics, and to state the name of their affiliated club.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ON THE RACE
Numbers are collected on the day, please arrive in plenty of time to pick these up from race HQ for the prompt 10am race start. Race HQ will be open from 8am

NOTE - the new start line is 1km away from the race HQ, give yourself plenty of time to get there after using the facilities at the race HQ.

We are under strict conditions from the Forestry England now, any urinating in the forest could impact our permit availability for future years

We have slightly increased the price this year - something we have tried to avoid in the past but he current situation is pushing prices up on everything we want to provide for you. We also want to provide extra facilities at the race HQ along with being able to offer each runner the best race day experience from start to finish.

The 10 mile races will be organised under UK Athletics rules on Trail Running Association permit, permit number (tbc).

Unfortunately the course is unsuitable for standard wheelchairs (the start and finish area is access friendly for supporters)

Dog are not permitted with the runners on course.

No deferrals or refunds. Should the race be cancelled for any reason then any money after costs will be paid to the club charity
