The great thing about living at the seaside is that during the winter months, there's plenty of empty roads to run on.
The worst thing about living on the seaside is that there aren't many people around to share the empty roads with.
The fun thing about the Maravan is you can run two events, over two different distances on two days. Perhaps you fancy a Marathon one day, and a half the next, or a relay with friends followed by a half marathon. This unique format allows you to run one or both days however is best for you.
The half marathon is 4 (slightly shorter) laps of Thorpe Park Holiday Park, with a bespoke medal for all participants, this is a strictly limited opportunity open to just 40 entrants.
With the aim of providing a fun, sociable event which doesn't take itself too seriously, with an interesting venue and a local flavour, all finishers will receive a Vigilantes medal for each day, along with a quality goody bag.
Numbers are to be collected on the day. The Maravan will be run under ARC rules.

No refunds or deferrals permitted, exchanges possible.
Unfortunately, due to the expenses that running a small non-profit event incurs, entry fees are non-refundable. However, we realise that sometimes things don't go to plan, so if you know in advance that you won't be able to make the start line, and you tell us by 31 October 2021, we'll let you transfer your entry to another runner. We might even be able to put you in touch with someone who will swap with you. We think this is fair. In case of exceptionally poor weather making running too dangerous and causing the event to be cancelled, entries can be carried over to next year's event.
