• No entries on the day.
• Entrants must be 18 or over on race day.
• The race is held under an FRA permit. All runners must follow the FRA Rules for Competition and the FRA Requirements for Runners, and any instructions from the organiser and marshals.
• Kit: runners must carry any kit the organiser requires on the day. This depends on the conditions and will be confirmed in the race instructions or at registration. Kit may be checked, and runners without the required kit will not be allowed to start.
• By entering, you confirm that you are fit and well enough to take part and able to look after yourself on open fell. You take part at your own risk.
• If you retire from the race, you must tell a marshal or the finish team. Runners who are not accounted for may trigger a search.
• Wear your race number on the front where it can be seen. Numbers must not be passed on to anyone else: places can only be transferred through EventEntry.
• Transfers: until 1 July 2027, through EventEntry.
• Refunds: up to 26 May 2027 (six weeks before the race). No refunds after that, and no deferrals.
• If we have to cancel the race before race day, entry fees will be refunded. If the race is cancelled, shortened or changed on the day for safety reasons (for example severe weather), entry fees cannot be refunded.
• Your details are shared with Matlock Athletic Club as organiser, and with the FRA where the permit requires. Results (name, club, age category and time) are published on the club and FRA websites. Our privacy notice: https://www.matlockac.org.uk/privacy-notice/
