On 23 June we are looking forward to welcoming a field of 700 runners to Prestwold for the annual Barrow Runners Prestwold 10K.

It's once again a Leicestershire Road Running League (LRRL) race. It's a relatively flat course, half on the roads within the Prestwold estate, and half on quiet country roads, ideal for an attempt at a PB.

Race proceeds also go to the Derbyshire, Leicestershire and Rutland Air Ambulance.

As agreed with the Leicestershire Road Running League, the entries for the first 7 days will be restricted to members of LRRL affiliated clubs. If the entries are not full by 19 May then the race will be advertised as an open event.

IMPORTANT CHANGES TO CAR PARKING FOR 2024

Due to developments on the Prestwold Estate, we have significantly less space for car parking than previous years. We ask runners to car share as much as possible and to arrive with plenty of time before the race.

Parking is still free and next to the repositioned event village.
