The Stonehenge Stomp 2026

The Stonehenge Stomp brings walkers and runners together with the challenge of completing distances from 5km to 40kms whilst enjoying the ancient landscape around Stonehenge. Everyone is welcome to attend and join in: runners, ramblers, walkers, families, dogs welcome - on leads.

Once again, The Stomp is supporting Salisbury Hospice Charity. 50% of the event proceeds will be donated to this worthy cause. The remained will be invested in grass routes athletics at our Club - City of Salisbury Athletics & Running Club

  • THIS EVENT IS CUPLESS - bring your own or order a stylish Stomp collapsible cup during entry to collect at registration

Organiser T&C's

  • Open to all; runners, ramblers, walkers, families. Dogs welcome - MUST be on lead at all times.
  • Entrants under 18 years old must have parental consent and be accompanied by a responsible adult.
  • Distances available to suit all abilities. 5km (pushchair friendly around Amesbury), 10km, 20km, 30km and 40km.
  • New: Mandatory Kit: All participants must carry a foil blanket. (available to purchase at HQ)
  • All participants will be issued with a coloured band corresponding to their chosen distance, which will need to be visible by our marshals and at checkpoints
  • GROUPS - all members must enter INDIVIDUALLY specifying team name which Stomp HQ will collate.
  • Runners should note that this event is not a race and is not timed - however, all participants must return to HQ by 16.00.
  • Entry includes the much sought after Stonehenge Stomp sew on badge.
  • The emergency contact number must be different from the participant mobile number
  • Marshalled checkpoints with water, squash and biscuits.
  • Checkpoint cards stamped along the route (optional) - yours to keep to prove you made the distance!
  • Personalised Certificates available (for a donation to our chosen charity), showing distance completed.
  • Online booking only. Sorry, there will be NO on-the-day entries. (entry usually sells out within 10 days - book early to avoid disappointment)!
  • Transfers are permitted up to 18th January. Refunds / deferrals are not offered. Entry is non-refundable.
  • Hot food available to purchase before and after the event.
  • Please bring warm clothing to HQ - showers/changing area available. (bag unmanned/items left at own risk)
