The Kintbury 5 is a 5 mile run around a single lap course taking in quiet country roads, woodland tracks and a section of private road only accessible on race day. Tracks have good surfaces with only a few potholes and some slightly gravelly surfaces at times. The course is undulating, be prepared for a steep incline in the first mile before gentle undulation and a final short incline in the last mile before a flat run through the village to the finish. Running buggies are permitted but please be aware of the uneven ground and varied surfaces making only off-road buggies suitable. No dogs allowed.
Please note parking will be signposted and is a 0.5 mile walk to the recreation ground. Toilet facilities and bag available with bags being left at owners own risk.
On the day entries may be available depending on pre-race day entries but not guaranteed.
Children's races and a 2 mile race open to anyone age 10 and above (including adults) can be entered on the day.

The race is registered with ARC (Association of Running Clubs). We ask our runners to not wear any in-ear or over-ear headphones to reduce any risks. Bone conducting headphones are still allowed but we request that you keep volume levels to a minimum so that you are able to hear marshall instructions clearly as roads are still open to traffic. Once the race has been entered, entry fees cannot be refunded. No deferrals.
