But what is this?
We had such a great time in 2022 walking the queue and soaking up the Christmas atmosphere on the South Bank that we're back in 2023. The plan is to meet at Waterloo station mid / late afternoon on Saturday 2nd December and then jump on the jubilee line over to Bermondsey, which is about 2 minutes walk from Southwark Park. We'll then use the Strava segment from my own Queue experience to walk the exact Queue route from the north exit of Southwark Park, down Cathay Street and west along the river past Tower Bridge, along the Southbank and all the way down to Lambeth Bridge and back on the north side to Westminster. Then we'll find somewhere to go for eats drinks afterwards. The Walk route, excluding Southwark Park is between 6 and 7 miles.

Everyone who comes along in person can earn one of our Queen Elizabeth II commemorative pins for FREE. Everyone who does the virtual VULTRA can have one posted out. I mean there has to be some bling involved, right?

We've set this up as one of our epic VULTRA's compete with interactive map and central results and progress landing page on the 'VULTRA' Phoenix Running website, and each walker / runner will have their own virtual location pin (complete with your name and BIB number for tracking your virtual progress) and you can even have your profile picture appear. Once you start your virtual run you'll submit your mileage as you go which, once approved, will automatically move you along the map.

This is a challenge for literally anyone and everyone and comes with a pre-Christmas Phoenix jolly in London.
