Welcome to our Team Pan America VULTRA and if you enjoyed our first Team Global VULTRA, then you're going to absolutely love this one. We're back with the same awesome fun and team camaraderie and this time we've produced a monster 150mm+ heavyweight medal worthy of a truly epic virtual run.
There will be two teams;
You'll be randomly allocated your team upon signup and then from 26th February 2021 we race in our teams along the longest mapped Pan American route from the southernmost town in South America in Ushuaia all the way up through South America, North America and finish in the northern territories of Canada at Tuktoyaktuk right on the arctic ocean at a point literally called 'The End of the Road'. We're even virtually running through the Darien Gap, the most dangerous place on earth right now, something that certainly wouldn't be possible outside of a virtual event. The Pan American VULTRA is 14,277 miles! You'll be able to see your individual miles on the results tables but there will only be two team pins on the map, one for Artemis and one for Apollo and we all contribute to one or the other. Will the fun just never stop!
This event will be opened ended - basically we race virtually together until we get there. The first team to cross the finish line at 'The End of the Road' in the northern territories of Canada will be declared the victor and with it gain unlimited bragging rights.
All entrants will receive all the usual VULTRA features; Phoenix World account, easy self submit results, results tracking, miles breakdown, tracking map, digital BIB, digital finishers certificate and all entrants who log miles will receive the epic 150mm Pan Am medal
Entries will be strictly capped so please enter as soon as you can and tell your running friends about this as the camaraderie and team spirit is second to none and it's a great way to keep motivated and keep running during the latest lockdown and beyond.
