PFW Running - The Wyre Wine and Cheese Run

We are delighted to bring you another new event for 2026.

The Wyre wine and cheese run

Come along to the Wyre estuary country park for a 4 mile trail run along the beautiful Wyre estuary.

Starting and finishing by the side of the river, all runners will head along the trail path to the turn point. Here we will have an aid station with water and a splash of red and white wine to keep you going.

Runners will turn and head back to the finish line where you will receive your medal and either a 187ml bottle of red or white wine. We will also have a selection of cheese and crackers available to nibble on and enjoy with your wine.

Course: 4 mile flat path and is a great route for all abilities of runner.

All finishers will also receive a medal, a 187ml bottle of wine (with lid on in case you want to take home) and a selection of cheese and crackers.

Over 18 only.

The event will be held under UK athletics rules and trail running license.
