The 37th edition of the Overton 5 is open!

Get ready to lace up, race day is coming! The Overton 5 returns on 6th September 2026 as the second fixture in the Hampshire Road Race League, and it's shaping up to be bigger and better than ever.

Whether you're a seasoned competitor chasing a new PB or stepping up from your first 5K and looking for an exciting next challenge, this race is made for you. The Overton 5 is all about great running, great atmosphere, and a warm welcome for every ability level.

The route winds through the stunning country roads around Overton, packed with rolling hills, sweeping views, and scenery once loved by Jane Austen, perfect inspiration to keep your legs (and imagination) moving!

You'll run on a course that is largely on closed roads, helping create a safe and enjoyable environment from start to finish. The event is also committed to reducing waste, with a strong focus on being as environmentally friendly as possible. Cross the finish line and you'll be rewarded with a unique memento to remember your achievement.

Please note: The wearing of all headphones (other than those medically prescribed) is not permitted.

Race will start at 10:30am.

Numbers will need to be collected on race day from race HQ, between 8:30 and 10:15.

Transfers will be possible until 4th September.
