We couldn't let a Leap Year go by without having a run to celebrate.

This is a relaxed 6 hour challenge based around the Knavesmire (York Racecourse).

The final route will be decided the week before the event, taking into account the weather conditions, but all the route options include trail, cycle paths and wooded areas. Each lap will be approx 3-4 miles and will be well signed/marshalled.

It's a 6 hour running challenge and you can run as few or as many laps as you wish within the 6 hour limit. All runners, no matter how many laps they have run, will receive a goody bag and bespoke event medal.

For those wishing to run an exact half marathon or marathon distance, the opportunity will be available.

Race HQ will be Bustardthorpe Changing Rooms on Racecourse Road (at the back of the Racecourse). Free parking is available on Racecourse Road.

Like our other events it is cupless. Please bring your own bottle or cup and we will happily fill and refill this for you with squash, water or coke on the day. We will have a well-stocked aid station and home-made cakes .

Registration and bib collection will be on the morning of the race.
