This is our first ever double whammy event where you can complete a marathon or half marathon twice in one weekend. We believe it is the first of its kind in Wales.
Day one of our Double Whammy event is a 7 hour timed event where you can choose the distance you run from 5k right up to an ultra marathon. If you decide to run on both days you will also receive an extra medal and have a discounted price. Laps are 3.3 miles on a scenic course around the Margam. You must be out on your last lap before 5:59 has passed.
As usual we will have our HUGE aid station packed with all our goodies including sweets, chocolate, fruit, biscuits, squash and coke and lots more.
Every entrant will receive a 90mm bespoke medal specific to marathon or half marathon, plus a goody bag filled with naughty treats for your journey home
We also offer free tea and coffee before and after the event.
Our events are always very relaxed with no pressure and lots of support. Your car will be right next to the start and you can return to it any time you wish, or you can leave anything you want at the race HQ.
Supporting families can see you several times around the course and Margam has a fantastic playground, lovely walks and a great cafe that is open on the weekends
Come and join us for one or both of the days. If you enter both days, the price is discounted and you will also receive an extra medal for completing the Double Whammy, and who doesn’t love a bit of bling!
