Dorney River Run

6 hour timed challenge where you can run as many or as few 6.6 mile laps as you choose, 2 laps for a half marathon, 4 for a marathon, 5+ for an ultra or 1 or more to be a finisher and receive your medal and a stack of chocolate.
Parking, toilets and registration will be at Eton College Rowing Centre at Dorney Lake, the start will be at the Boathouse and the flat route will follow the Thames Path first towards Windsor, passing the Church of St Mary Magdalene, Boveney Lock and Windsor Racecourse before turning back once in full view of the castle. You will then come back past the Boathouse and aid station (3.6 miles into the lap) before heading towards Maidenhead, turning back just before the Queen's Eyot and returning to the Boathouse to complete the 6.6 mile lap.
The race will start at 9:00 am, on your last lap you must have completed the Windsor section of the lap (3.6 miles) before 6:00:00 from the start, you will then be able to complete the remaining 3 miles even if your finish time is a little over the 6 hours.
